When do I actually pay a commission?
You pay only on two events: (1) when Local Taxi shares a qualified lead with you, or (2) when a booking is confirmed through the platform. There are no charges for simply listing your business, receiving profile views, or appearing in search results.
How much is the commission?
Commission rates are transparent and pre-disclosed before you accept any lead or booking. Rates vary by service type (one-way, round-trip, airport transfer, tour package) and are visible in your partner dashboard so there are never any surprises.
How is the commission billed?
Commission for every shared lead and confirmed booking is tracked automatically inside your partner dashboard. You can see every charge line-item by line-item, and we contact you with the consolidated amount and the settlement instructions for each cycle.
Are there any other fees?
No setup fee, no monthly subscription required for a basic listing, and no per-call charges. Optional premium subscriptions exist for enhanced visibility, but they are entirely opt-in.
Is the commission added to the traveller's fare?
No. The fare the traveller sees and pays is your fare. Our commission is paid out of your earnings, not added on top of the traveller's price. That keeps your pricing competitive and trust intact.
Will I get fewer leads if I pause?
Yes — pausing removes you from the eligibility pool, so no broadcasts go to you while you're paused. The moment you un-pause you're back in the pool on equal footing with everyone else. Pausing is not penalised.
How is the winning partner picked when multiple of us see the same lead?
Pure first-come-first-serve. Every eligible partner in the pickup city receives the lead at the same instant. The first to tap Accept (in the inbox or via WhatsApp) locks the trip — an atomic database update prevents double-booking. There are no waves, auctions, sealed quotes, scoring, or paid queue-skipping.
