Our ongoing commitment to making Local Taxi usable by everyone.

Our commitment

Local Taxi aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we test with keyboard-only navigation, screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and higher-zoom levels on every meaningful release.

Measures we take

Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and a persistent "Skip to main content" link.
Colour contrast reviewed against WCAG AA on all core flows (booking, dashboards, forms).
Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus rings.
Form fields carry associated labels and inline error messages.
Icons that are purely decorative use aria-hidden="true"; icon-only buttons carry aria-label.

Known limitations

Some third-party embeds (payment gateways, map tiles) may not meet AA — we route around them wherever possible.
Legacy CPT tables in the admin dashboard are optimised for sighted use.
