How do I book a taxi on Local Taxi?
Fill in the booking form with your trip details (from, to, date, vehicle type). We'll share your request with verified partners who will contact you with quotes via call or WhatsApp.
What do I pay, and to whom?
You pay the partner's fare. On instant bookings the advance shown at checkout is collected online by our payment technology partner Seraj Tourism through the Razorpay gateway, and the balance is shown on your booking. Local Taxi earns a commission paid by the partner or driver. A platform fee may apply in future; if it ever does it will be shown as a separate line item before you pay — never added silently. Enquiries are free and take no payment.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
The cancellation window and refund rule that applies to your trip is displayed at the time of booking. Refunds are initiated by the Local Taxi team or the taxi partner and processed back through Seraj Tourism / Razorpay to your original payment method.
Can I book a taxi for tomorrow?
Yes! You can book a taxi for any future date. For same-day bookings, we recommend submitting your enquiry at least 2-3 hours in advance.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payment is handled directly between you and the taxi partner. Most partners accept cash, UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), and bank transfers.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellation policies vary by partner. Most partners offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the trip. Contact the partner directly for their specific policy.
